Google Editionの「Xperia Z」が2013年7月にも発売か

Google EditionのXperia ZはAndroid 4.1を搭載！？
Android Geeksによると、Google Editionの「Xperia Z」が今年の7月にもリリースされるとのこと。
A Sony insider who wanted to remain anonymous has confirmed for us that the two companies will soon launch an Xperia Z Google Edition. Even though he couldn’t confirm the exact release date of the Sony Xperia Z Google Edition, he said that the smartphone will be announced sometime in July.
また、このGoogle Editionの「Xperia Z」は、ソニーモバイルがXperia Z向けにAndroid 4.2へのアップデートを提供しない限り、Android 4.1がインストールされた状態で発売されるとのことです。
Google EditionとAndroidの課題に関係性あり！？
このGoogle Editionの「Xperia Z」が本当に発売されるのであれば、Googleは短期間でGoogle Editionモデルを3機種発売することとなります。
このGoogleの動きは非常に興味がありますが、一体何を示しているのでしょうかねー。
Googleのピチャイ氏は、Androidの課題はユーザー体験の統一にあり、改善に向けて導いて行きたいとコメントしましたが、Google Editionとのなんらかの関係があるのかもしれません。
